Portrayal

"The fates incline us, they do not bind us."Slowly are the words uttered, and with a soft, raspy voice. Often, her placid tone carries sensual notes, the words being purred more than spoken. Her gaze is cold and empty, yet harsh as scathing blades as pale, milky eyes rake over each person she sees. Some consider it to be bad luck when caught in the gaze of a witch. Though few can call it a boon should she be in a good mood.Though shorter than her kin, Ayeh moves with the confidence of a creature ten fulm tall. Her steps are graceful and light as a dancer’s, yet measured and sure as a huntress. Her posture is straight and exact, as if she were a noble of the frigid Ishgard. Rigidity gives way to a natural elegance that cannot be stifled, even when in traditional tribal garb.Inky black tresses flow straight down to brush along her lower back. Fur, the very same color, coats her long feathery tail which she keeps curled from the ground. Midnight silks drape over her form, hugging generous curves sculpted from a life of luxury. Though she is soft and shapely, hints of huntress’ strength can be witnessed by those with a keen eye.Ayeh's skin rarely sees the light of day, and as such, is just as pallid as her eyes. The flesh carries a slight blue tint in the right lighting, and should she move a certain way, it is apparent that her skin is translucent in some areas. Her eyelids and lips are painted black to match her hair, and there is a small black gem, which glints in the light, fixed between her brows.Many piercings mark her body. Everywhere from lips, to cheeks, to ears, to belly button -- and more. From these piercings, thin chains connect to one another, sometimes chiming gently as she moves. Her jewelry is abundant and eclectic. Uncut crystals and bleached bone mingle with polished gems affixed with precious metals. Though she no longer dances, such hints linger in the way she dresses and carries herself.Ayeh is quick to a smile, though the expression rarely reaches her eyes, thus hinting at disingenuous display. This miqo'te is capricious by nature, it is best for one to be on their toes.

To those sensitive enough and perhaps trained in certain magics, Ayeh gives off an eerie aura. Holding herself with an odd air, it is obvious she surrounds herself with immersive void energies.
Rumours suggest that the pale keeper deals in favors for her talents, but others tell the tale of something much more sinister. Of magic and curses (but at a steep price), there is often a warning lingering in the air, to tread carefully when dealing with this particular witch...Lest you be like the rest of those souls misfortuned.
It was of no surprise, quite frankly, that dark dealings were had with seedy underbellies...As well as the yakuza...Well, no surprise to those who's watchful eyes survived the wrath of the witch who's own pale gaze could pierce even the darkest corners of any room.
A former regular to the Thaumaturge Guild in Ul'dah, those that frequented it's chambers before the Calamity would remember the studious woman who spent countless hours there. She stood out amongst her fellow students, always showing up in flamboyant and revealing dancer's silks and jewelry, smelling of hookah and incense.
Perhaps it was the reason as to why she kept so close to the city proper, formerly working as an exotic dancer for both coin and information within an extravagant lounge. Her company among the finest men and women the city had to offer, she could often be found in the laps of rich men when not entertaining the masses upon the stage.
